Kate completed her PhD in Humanities (ethnomusicology) from Concordia University in 2018, where she was funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Her thesis can be found here: PhD thesis
Celtic trio, Bùmarang, is in the production phase of their debut album, to be released in 2020. The trio is made up of David Gossage, Sarah Pagé, and Kate Bevan-Baker, and their music is influenced by Celtic, African, Jazz, Bluegrass, and Classical.
